Role Overview
We're seeking a hands-on HR Manager to lead and manage all aspects of human resources in a dynamic, non-union manufacturing environment. This is a solo HR role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys being a strategic partner to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Onboarding : Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for all salaried and hourly rolesBenefits Administration : Oversee health insurance programs, 401(k) enrollment and management, and make recommendations for plan improvementsHR Process Management : Maintain and improve policies, procedures, and training documentationPerformance Management : Coordinate annual performance reviews and merit-based payroll adjustmentsCompliance & Reporting : Manage workers' compensation (Ohio BWC / OSHA), unemployment, and COBRA administrationSafety & SOPs : Develop and maintain safety policies and standard operating proceduresPreferred Qualifications :
Proven experience in recruitingSolid HR generalist backgroundProficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with ERP systemsAbility to work independently in a solo HR roleExperience in a production or manufacturing environment is a plus#LI-LC1
