Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Falls Churc, Virginia.

✅ Requirements

Experience :

Minimum 2 years Emergency Department RN experience

Experience in Level I or II Trauma Center required

Previous travel experience preferred

Certifications (Required) :

BLS (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

NIHSS

TNCC

CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)

EMR : EPIC experience preferred

Floating :

Must be willing to float to offsite EDs :

Fairfax City ED (10 beds, ~40 patients / day)

Reston / Herndon ED (7 beds, ~25 patients / day)

On Call :

Must take 1–2 on-call shifts per schedule

🧠 Unit Details

Trauma Level : Level I (RN will not treat trauma cases directly)

Patients Seen Daily : ~350 at main campus

Layout : 73 rooms + 24 hallways

Patient Acuity : Mixed, no psych holds (medically cleared & admitted)

Security : On-site in ED

Sitter Support : Available for suicidal patients

Fast Track : None – non-acute patients seen in general ED flow

Specialties Handled : Stroke, STEMI, trauma (bypassed unless critical)
