The Eye Center in Yakima, Washington is a well established private practice seeking an exceptional BC / BE comprehensive ophthalmologist. Excellent opportunity to work full-time with great work-life balance. Partnership track opportunity for applicant after one year. This position requires a skilled, hard-working, compassionate team player who would thrive in a private practice setting. High surgical volume; willing to mentor new graduate with recommendation from residency department chair that surgical skills are exceptional for stage in training. Currently, we are the only full-time ophthalmology clinic and private ASC in the Yakima Valley with a surrounding population of about 350,000. Our practice is medical / surgical only and has a great working relationship with 40+ local optometrists. We see a variety of eye pathology and emphasize high quality care with a personal touch. Excellent support staff and scribes will help you be productive and make your day go smooth. We use EyeMD EHR. We have on‑site YAG, SLT, and green lasers, Humphrey Visual Field, Cirrus OCT with AngioPlex, and Argos IOL master with coordinated DMEI in the operating room. Operate with a Zeiss microscope and Alcon Centurion Phaco unit in our ophthalmic ASC which is adjacent to the clinic. We are located in beautiful Yakima, Washington, in the heart of Central Washington. With 300 days of sunshine a year, and 4 distinct seasons, Yakima is a great location for an outdoor enthusiast and someone who enjoys a smaller community.
