Daily Responsibilities : Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health Required Skills : X-Ray Certified Chairside Assisting Expanded Functions Coronal Polishing Nice to Have Skills : Four-Handed Dentistry Dental Prophylaxis Periodontics Fluoride Treatments General Dentistry Technical Skills : Temporary Crowns Nitrous Oxide Taking Impressions Nitrous Oxide Certified Sealant Placement Salary and Benefits : The salary for this position ranges depending on skills and experience.
