Engagement Manager
The Dedham Group is seeking an Engagement Manager for its Life Sciences Strategy Consulting practice. This role is remote, based in the United States. The Dedham Group aims to separate the background "noise" from what warrants investment in a highly complex, rapidly evolving marketplace to help pharmaceutical and biotech clients make better decisions and flourish. About The Role
The Engagement Manager will work directly with the Partner in leading the Pricing and Contracting Strategy business unit, managing a team of associates and junior managers. The role involves serving as the main client point of contact for strategic project engagements and internal team lead. The Engagement Manager will provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership for Pricing and Contracting strategy and research efforts, including stakeholder panel development, data sourcing, market access trends, and commercialization needs. The Engagement Manager will also partner with internal Dedham Group / Norstella resources to support lead generation and cross-selling opportunities. The role requires a client-first mentality and adherence to Dedham standards regarding client relationships and project pricing / scoping. The Engagement Manager will maintain and update client records in Salesforce and work 100% remotely, with the option for in-office work.
Required Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in life sciences strategy consulting, with an emphasis in Pricing and Contracting Strategy or similar roles within biopharmaceutical / pharmaceutical commercialization. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple workstreams / teams and create complete, "client-ready" deliverables with creative analyses. Experience in mentorship and development of junior managers and associates is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of life science and pharmaceutical engagement strategies and tactics. Significant experience with data analytics and quantitative models to support strategic client engagements is also necessary. The candidate should be a strong team player, able to work with cross-functional staff.

The expected base salary ranges from $200,000 to $230,000, with discretionary bonuses available.
