    The Company is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Partnerships to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the expansion of the employee benefits business line, with a focus on driving growth and building strategic relationships in the group benefits space. This role is pivotal in the company's mission to provide protection and peace of mind to customers, particularly in the context of expanding paid family medical leave and state-mandated disability programs. The VP will be responsible for leading a team, building strategic frameworks, and managing national broker firms, general agencies, PEOs, carrier partners, and payroll firms to accelerate growth and establish deep, long-term partnerships. The role requires a dynamic and experienced leader with a proven track record in strategic business development, market engagement, and operational excellence. Candidates for the VP, Strategic Partnerships role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in the insurance or employee benefits industry, including at least 3 years in a people leadership position. The role demands a leader with strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities, as well as excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The VP will be expected to champion continuous improvement initiatives, provide executive reporting, and contribute to cross-functional collaboration. A data-driven approach to decision-making, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience in leveraging technology to enhance sales performance are essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of large trading firms, executive-level needs, and performance reporting, and will be adept at influencing cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
