Transmission Operations Training Coordinator
This position is responsible for the development, execution, and continued support of the Transmission Operations training and performance programs. The incumbent must exhibit excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex subject matter to a variety of audiences using effective instructional methods and technologies.
Key roles and responsibilities include :
- Providing training, coaching, guidance, and leadership to Transmission Operations personnel.
- Planning, coordinating, delivering, and documenting assigned training activities.
- Conducting trainings in a safe and professional manner using effective adult learning principles.
- Communicating complex subject matter to a variety of audiences.
- Providing support for online knowledge base tools.
- Facilitating meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Developing and revising assigned training courses and learning objectives.
- Performing training needs assessments.
- Assisting in the development of a cost-effective training schedule.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver training.
- Tracking key learning objectives.
- Proctoring progression reviews and skill demonstrations.
Skills required include :
Strong skills and abilities in adult learning and training delivery.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to establish, develop, and manage effective working relationships.Education and experience required :
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and 8 years of relevant work experience.Associates degree in Electrical area of study or equivalent with 6 years of relevant work experience.Bachelor degree in Electrical area of study or equivalent with 4 years of relevant work experience.Knowledgeable of and competent in application of current technical and design theories in Transmission Operations. Strong working knowledge of applicable Company policies, procedures, and work rules and government regulations.
