Are you a hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a cook at our busy quick-service restaurant. We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast-casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn. Compensation : $12 - $16 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Wash, cut, dice, chop, and slice food items to stock prep stations
• Maintain work stations, including all countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition per health and safety regulations
• Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it
• Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
• Clean equipment and work surfaces at the end of each shift, including sweeping floors, mopping, and cleaning counters
