Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer II to build and extend its backend architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build large components in multiple services

Ensure high quality of architecture and design of systems

Create optimal technical solutions considering non-functional requirements

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java, Kotlin, or Scala

Minimum of 1 year experience building, deploying, and supporting cloud-based applications in production environments (AWS and / or Google Cloud)

Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Aurora)

Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
