  • This is a full-time Senior Certified Nursing Assistant position.\n

  • Every other weekend and holiday work is required.\n
  • You must hold a current CNA certification.\n

  • Enjoy a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe Senior Nursing Assistant serves as an expert caregiver for residents during scheduled shifts in long-term care. You will display exceptional proficiency in nursing assistance and support your team as needed.\n\nYour responsibilities include providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). You will deliver age-appropriate care tailored to both the physical and psychological needs of residents in accordance with individualized care plans.\n\nYour Role Involves : \n
  • Assisting residents with everyday activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.\n
  • Recording vital signs, providing psychosocial support, and facilitating transfers and mobility with appropriate techniques.\n
  • Contributing to meal preparation and creating a positive dining experience for residents.\n
  • Documenting and communicating resident interactions and changes to the charge nurse.\n
  • Participating in cleaning duties and enhancing residents' living spaces.\n
  • Encouraging residents' participation in wellness and recreational programs.\n\nYou may also lead Restorative Nursing programs and participate in departmental committees as needed.\n\nQualifications\n
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.\n
  • Minimum age of 16 required; two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.\n
  • Must possess current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.\n
  • Complete annual competency testing and 12 hours of continuing education each year.\n
