The Supply Chain team adds critical value to the entire organization. You'll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You'll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.
In this position you will :
Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery
Lead cross-functional decisions with Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.
Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers
Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations
Lead adherence to Ford standards (i.e.Q1)
Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites
Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP)
Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality

Skills Required :
Quality Management, Problem Solving, APQP, PPAP processes
Ability to develop and present materials to leadership on short notice
Ability to lead resolution of manufacturing, quality, and / or capacity issues on-site with suppliers
Experience Required :
5+ years' experience in one or more, but not limited to the following manufacturing process : Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding, Plastic / Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, Automated / Manual Assembly Processes, Controls Automation programming, Paint, Chroming, SMC.
Experience Preferred :
Manufacturing, maintenance, and quality operations experience
Education Required :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude
