Responsibilities Work in a Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Possible floating to other units as needed Utilizes Epic EMR, prior Epic experience required Locals are accepted at the same rate Must be available for assigned shifts with no time off allowed between 2 / 15 / 26 and 2 / 28 / 26 Responsibilities include providing RN care for laboring and delivering patients and initiating IV therapy All candidates must complete an urgent fingerprinting process for compliance Candidates residing outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an in-state fingerprinting location promptly; distant candidates will receive a fingerprinting packet by mail Former employees are eligible if separated for 6 months or longer; current employees are ineligible for travel positions at this system Time off requests must be submitted during the application process Requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP C-EFM or AWHONN Advanced certification required (NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced) IV start skills and direct L&D experience required Epic charting system experience required Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program At least 2 professional references required, including one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor Previous travel nursing experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640248.
