About the Company
We’re supporting a large-scale public sector modernization initiative focused on transforming a legacy financial and tax infrastructure system into a modern, integrated platform. The project is entering its initial requirements and planning phase, and we’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping its success.
About the Role
You’ll collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and department leaders to define, document, and validate business requirements for a major enterprise system replacement. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and documentation sessions with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and support RFP preparation.
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for modernization and efficiency.
- Support validation, testing, and implementation planning for new technology solutions.
- Bridge communication between technical teams and non-technical business users.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in business analysis within complex financial or technology modernization environments.Experience in public sector, taxation, revenue, or financial systems preferred.Required Skills
Strong background in requirements management, process mapping, and solution design.Excellent communication and facilitation abilities across diverse stakeholders.Preferred Skills
CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent certification preferred.Experience with system modernization (COTS implementations, ERP, or legacy replacements) a plus.Note : This role is W2 only — no C2C, third parties, or sponsorship available
