At North Country Donuts, we pride ourselves on crafting delicious, high-quality donuts that bring joy to our community. Our bakery is known for its unique flavors and fresh ingredients, and we’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Donut Baker to join our team.

Job Summary :

The Assistant Donut Baker will work under the supervision of the Head Baker to assist in the daily operations of our donut production. This role requires a love for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and help deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the preparation and baking of donuts following established recipes and procedures.
  • Measure and mix ingredients with precision to ensure product quality.
  • Operate baking equipment, including fryers and ovens, safely and efficiently.
  • Decorate and finish donuts with icing, toppings, and fillings according to shop standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to create new flavors and specials.
  • Assist in the training of new staff as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and answering questions about our products.

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
  • Passion for baking and a desire to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
