Department of Pediatric Behavioral Health & Neurosciences

Cleveland Clinic, one of the worlds most distinguished academic medical centers and ranked by U.S.

News & World Report announces a search for a Pediatric Psychologist specializing in

psychological assessment and testing in our growing Department of Pediatric Behavioral Health and

Neurosciences.

Primary Duties : This position will support our growing division and outpatient assessment program.

The Center for Attention and Learning provides a range of diagnostic evaluations and specialized

consultation services for children with potential neurodevelopmental differences. The primary role for

this psychologist will be to provide outpatient assessment, testing and consultation with potential for

some outpatient treatment. Primary location will be the Childrens Hospital for Rehabilitation and flexible

scheduling and some remote work is an opportunity.

Other Opportunities : While this position is primarily focused on assessment of attention and learning,

there are opportunities to build clinical integration in other medical divisions, (e.g., Neurology,

Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics). This psychologist may also participate in supervising bachelors

and masters level providers in outpatient settings. There are also opportunities for program

development and integration of clinical and quality improvement research.

Being a staff psychologist at the Cleveland Clinic also offers opportunities in program development and

implementation, and opportunities for teaching learners from a variety of health disciplines. Staff may

also participate in our Psychology Fellowship Program and our APA-accredited Psychology Residency

Program.

Faculty and Staff Development : Employment at the Cleveland Clinic allows for opportunities in

research and professional development. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with

experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve

University. Board Certification via the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), which is

required to advance from Associate Staff to Full Staff, is fully supported and funded by the Cleveland

Clinic Childrens Institute.

Qualifications : Doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology, with APA approved internship,

licensure in Ohio and at least one year of post-doctoral experience in a clinical child or pediatric

psychology setting.
