Job descriptionPerforming endoscopic procedures. Handling outpatient calls. Experience with ERCP is highly desirable. Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) : 1.0 Setting : Inpatient Required Procedures : Proficient in all endoscopic procedures; ERCP experience preferred. Patient Load : Cases include Endos, GI Bleeds, IBD Flare-ups, and Livers. Support Staff : Two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available for rounding when needed. APPs also manage clinics. Reason for Coverage : Unavailability of regular MD coverage. EMR System : EPIC Gastroenterology Training : Case log for the past 24 months (extended due to lower volume caused by COVID). Board Certification : Required in Gastroenterology. Licensure : Will consider candidates needing to obtain a Nebraska license. Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support). DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration). Clean Malpractice / Background : Highly Preferred.

Assignment Details :
- Shift Schedule : 24-hour call shift from 7 am to 7 am.
- Duties :
Inpatient and outpatient gastro coverage.
6-15 Admissions / Patients.
Dedicated endoscopy staff.
Requirements :
Residency / fellowship training in Gastroenterology.
Active Nebraska License (Highly Preferred).
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
