Job Title : Mainframe Developer

Role Location : Pennington, NJ or Jersey City, NJ, or New York, NY

Duration of Role : 12 months

Key Responsibilities :

  • z / OS based skills (TSO, JCL, ISPF, SDSF, etc) programming languages (COBOL, REXX, VISION / Mark IV a plus) Developing & maintaining critical Mainframe applications utilizing COBOL, JCL, CA7, CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM 5 IBM mainframe program product knowledge and experience (CA7, Control-D, Connect : Direct / NDM, CA-View / SAR) Computer Message and transmission protocols such as MQ, NDM and sFTP Knowledge of CICS Webservices Experience with DFSORT, ICETOOL Mainframe Modernization such as converting to ETL, Java, Tableau

Basic Qualifications :

  • Good experience in Information Technology
  • Good experience with development maintaining critical Mainframe applications
  • Good experience with COBOL, JCL, CA7, CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM 5
  • Good experience with building and managing applications using AS400
  • Associate's Degree

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience with ITIL
  • Experience with Production Support
