Job descriptionProven experience as an Azure Solutions Architect. Hands-on expertise in .NET development. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred). Experience with Angular or React. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience architecting cloud-based solutions, with recent Azure architecture experience. Strong technical knowledge of Azure PaaS, IaaS, and Azure AD. Solid understanding of architectural design patterns, concepts, and best practices. Experience with Service Fabric, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), event-driven architecture, SOA, microservices, and serverless computing. Proficiency with PowerShell / Bash, and experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM templates. Understanding of application scaling to handle traffic increases. Experience with CI / CD pipelines and cloud system operations. Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines. Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred) or MCSD Azure Solutions Developer. Familiarity with Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake (Gen2 Storage). Background in Windows / Linux virtualization and networking. Previous .NET Core development experience. Experience with Visual Studio, GIT, and ServiceNow. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and leadership levels. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Participate in architectural design meetings supporting key IT and Digital capabilities.
- Deploy, manage, automate, operate, and secure scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement and control the flow of data to and from cloud environments.
- Select appropriate Azure services based on compute, data, budget, and security requirements.
- Identify and enforce cloud-based operational best practices.
- Estimate usage costs, implement cost control mechanisms, and drive cost efficiencies.
