Summary :
Apply chemistry physics and materials science to develop and qualify composite materials and processes.
Provide technical evaluation and support for composite part fabrication.
Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective / preventive actions.
Create and execute test plans write reports and contribute to technical specifications.
Qualify / approve equipment materials and processes.
Support lab testing supplier coordination and cross-functional collaboration with design production manufacturing and quality teams.
Manage test and audit programs ensuring compliance with regulatory contractual and EHS / LEAN / Quality standards.
Work 100% onsite in a dynamic 2nd shift role with opportunities for technical or leadership growth.
Requirements :
U.S. Citizenship (required to obtain U.S. Security Clearance; interim or final Secret Clearance post-start required).
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Engineering Technology Chemistry Physics Mathematics Data Science or Computer Science.
Level 2 : Bachelors 2 years or Masters degree.
Level 3 : Bachelors 5 years or Masters 3 years.
Willingness to work 2nd shift.
Preferred Qualifications :
1 years of experience with composites elastomers and processing techniques.
Hands-on lab experience with polymer chemistry and analytical techniques.
Knowledge of epoxy cyanate ester bismaleimide urethane polyimide reinforcements and adhesives.
Experience with composite failure modes and failure analysis.
Familiarity with engineering drawings technical specifications and report writing.
Strong communication skills with ability to present technical data and collaborate across disciplines.
