Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain financial records for a portfolio of commercial and mixed-use properties.
- Prepare accurate journal entries and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
- Oversee billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to tenants.
- Assist in the development and management of property budgets, forecasting financial performance.
- Utilize the Yardi system to manage property accounting and reporting tasks.
- Collaborate with the Controller to streamline financial operations and reporting.
- Monitor property expenses and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Generate financial reports and statements for management review.
- Work closely with the property management team to address accounting-related needs and concerns.
- Support audits and provide documentation as required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in using the Yardi system for property management and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of commercial property management and mixed-use property operations.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Solid understanding of billing processes and journal entries.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across various departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
