Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly, accurately recording all transactions and investigating discrepancies.
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as necessary.
- Accurately record prepaid expenses and apply amortization over the correct periods.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis to identify discrepancies and work with department heads to address issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and reduce inefficiencies.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management and analyzing performance trends.
- Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate the audit process.
- Manage fixed assets, including maintaining depreciation schedules, recording asset additions/disposals, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Experience and Education:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Bachelor's degree in
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience with accounting information systems.

Essential Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit/stand up for up to a full 8-hour shift, in the performance of the position.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and while meeting regular deadlines.
