The Dave & Mary Alper JCC Miami is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Needs Supervisor to join our team. This part-time role is responsible for leading our after-school special needs programs, ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise, train, and lead a team of staff working with children with special needs.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to support children’s growth and social development.
• Assist staff in managing behaviors, implementing effective strategies, and ensuring consistency.
• Develop and enhance program curriculum and activities that are inclusive and engaging.
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and leadership to ensure smooth program operations.
• Coordinate intake meetings with families and help determine best-fit program placements.
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, organizational policies, and safety procedures.
• Support inclusion in Camp, Mini Camp, and other youth programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve parent or staff concerns in a timely, professional manner.
