Med / Surg RN Job Details Job Title : Med / Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract Location : Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104 Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract Unit : 9 Tower – 25-bed Medical / Surgical Unit Start Date : November 12, 2025 End Date : February 11, 2026 Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1460 - $1500 Patient Ratio : 1 : 5-6 Weekend Requirement : 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Float Requirement : Yes, within Med / Surg scope Documentation System : EPIC (EPIC experience preferred) Scrub Color : Navy Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license (required at time of application) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience (2 years preferred) BLS certification (required) EPIC charting system experience preferred Ability to float to similar medical-surgical units as needed Proficient in blood product administration, wound care / wound vac, IV and PICC line management, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, and related clinical skills Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 25-bed Med / Surg unit Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform phlebotomy procedures Monitor and document patient progress using the EPIC electronic health record system Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services Float to similar medical-surgical units within scope as needed Participate in rapid response / code teams and adhere to isolation precautions Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation Support patients with feeding tubes, colostomy care, and post-surgical recovery Experience the best of Oklahoma nursing jobs while making a difference in patient care.
