We are seeking Full Time Night Shift Patient Care Techs to join our team!

Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan - DMC Campus, located in Detroit, MI is a 28 bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families

Responsibilities

Responsible for technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. Assigned to work under the supervision of a RN / LPN / LVN who delegates tasks based upon patient needs and PCT / PCA skills and abilities. Will report all deviations from expected patient parameters to the registered nurse. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills :

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant or PCT program or successful completion of the Hospital's PCT training and orientation program
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
