The Cardiac Interventional Technologist II Performs angiographic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Responsible for patient management prior to, during, and after the procedure.

Primary Duties :

• Performs and assists with complex cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, including angiographic, interventional, and ablation procedures, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.
• Acts as a first assistant to physicians during catheterization procedures, administering contrast media and managing guide wires and catheters in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Monitors and records hemodynamic data, interprets ECG rhythms, and provides immediate patient care in response to arrhythmias or procedural complications.
• Manages inventory, orders supplies, maintains accurate records in hospital systems (RIS), and ensures infection control and proper equipment operation.
• Handles all phases of patient carefrom pre-procedural education and lab work confirmation to post-procedural monitoring, discharge, and transportwhile supporting departmental goals and emergency response duties.
