- Position : Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
- Location : Lubbock, TX
- Shift : 2 : 30pm - 11 : 00pm, Thursday - Monday
- Status : Full Time (80 hours per pay period)
Key Responsibilities :
Perform a wide range of laboratory testing in departments such as Hematology, Chemistry, Transfusion Services, Microbiology, Phlebotomy, Virology, Flow Cytometry, and Apheresis.Operate and maintain state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and technology.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test results for patient care.Practice critical thinking and decisive judgment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, including effective listening and clear communication with healthcare team members.Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Adhere to UMC's Standards of Excellence, including Attitude, Communication, Responsiveness, Compassion, Teamwork, Ownership, Safety, and Respect.Maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards (CAP, CLIA, AABB, FDA).Support UMC's mission to provide high-quality, safe patient care and contribute to the training of healthcare professionals.Qualifications :
