The MedStar Orthopaedic Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Board Certified / Eligible, fellowship-trained Traumatologist to join our practice.

Join our expanding multi-specialty practice with over 50 Orthopaedic Surgeons across the DC region. MedStar Washington Hospital Center is the largest academic Level 1 trauma center in Washington, D.C., and part of the MedStar Network, the largest health system in the Mid-Atlantic.

The compensation package is competitive, including an initial income guarantee, call pay, quality bonuses, and RVU incentives. The position involves working with medical students and residents, with eligibility for an academic appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate core competencies in orthopaedic traumatology, possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. Proficiency in clinical documentation, understanding of patient safety, and high reliability in patient care are essential.

Requirements :

• Board-eligible / board-certified in Orthopaedics with a fellowship in Trauma surgery.
• Strong training, background, and interpersonal skills.

This position offers a hiring range of $320,000 - $645,000. In addition to salary, MedStar Health provides a comprehensive healthcare package and other benefits. Compensation is based on experience, education, and skills, and may vary based on market and business considerations.
