Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Forward Deployed Engineer - Blockchain - this is a hybrid position in New York.

We're building a platform that is setting the standard for how regulated blockchain applications enforce transaction rules at the smart contract layer. Predicate empowers teams to create modular and programable policies—such as AML / CFT checks and offchain collateral requirements—that are verified before transactions execute onchain. Our solution ensures these policies are securely enforced with cryptographic guarantees, providing robust risk management tailored to real-world customer needs.

The role

As an Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll ensure customers successfully integrate our platform into production. You’ll own the implementation process end-to-end, working directly with engineering teams to unblock adoption and refine integration patterns. You’ll identify friction, build supporting tools and examples, and maintain clear, developer-friendly documentation.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong engineering ability, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of smart contracts and a variety of onchain financial applications. You should have a sharp eye for integration pain points and a bias toward writing well-tested, minimal tooling that resolves them. You’ll be the primary owner of our documentation and our developer-facing SDKs.

Responsibilities

Own customer-facing technical integrations end-to-end

Develop and improve our developer tooling based on real-world usage

Own the developer documentation and integration examples

Surface product gaps and pain points with clear, actionable feedback

What we look for

5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong fluency in scripting languages

1+ years experience working with smart contracts

Proven ability to learn new tools and languages quickly (you may work with Rust, SVM, ZK frameworks, etc.)

Experience building developer tools, SDKs, or API-facing systems

Strong written communication skills and ability to produce clear technical documentation
