Job Responsibilities
- Provide data logging, data collection, and summaries, demonstrating tailpipe emission and OBD targets / objectives.
- Provide calibration input to support all releases and sign-off completion.
- Utilize MATLAB and calibration tools including ETAS and / or ATI.
- Perform emission transparency for FTPs.
- Conduct FTP emissions testing with prototype vehicles.
- Conduct emissions transparency sign-off testing.
- Understand emission regulatory requirements, including OBD.
- Comprehensive knowledge of internal combustion engines and effective engine and vehicle test methods.
- Understand the On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) calibration process for multiple monitors, testing, and / or documentation required for self-certification.
- Provide any OBD calibration tuning to complete the required self-cert test.
- Conduct R05 OBDII Self-Cert for the required sub-set of monitors.
- Any GPF calibration experience is advantageous.
Job Qualifications
