Duration : Full-time

Location : Addison, IL

Salary : $110,000-$120,000 / Annually

Role Description : The Controls Engineer must have 6+ years of experience. For this role, you must be a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team in Addison, IL.

In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of controls engineering, including system design, control panel design, PLC programming, instrumentation, and providing support for system checkout and start-up.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement control systems (both logic software and hardware) to meet specific process system requirements.
• Create Sequence of Operation (SOO) documentation detailing control strategies for the processes being controlled.
• Lead design reviews with customers to review and gain approval for design documents.
• Perform on-site system checkout and start-up of integrated control systems.
• Prepare final system documentation and provide training to the customer.
• Work on automation and control system integration projects across various industries, including manufacturing production lines and water / wastewater sectors.
• Act as a technical lead on projects, guiding and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

Education : A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Relocation : This position will cover relocation expenses

Travel : 35% travel

Local Preferred : Yes

Note : Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
