We are looking for an experienced Controller in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and managing construction accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise and the ability to handle month-end close procedures effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Manage month-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee construction accounting tasks, including Work In Progress (WIP) tracking and reporting.
• Utilize Sage 300 software to streamline accounting operations and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support business decision-making.
• Ensure proper documentation and organization of accounting schedules.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations in all financial activities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders.
• Support audits and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
• Proven experience in month-end close procedures and journal entry preparation.
• Strong skills in account reconciliation and financial accuracy.
• Expertise in construction accounting, including Work In Progress (WIP) processes.
• Proficiency in Sage 300 software for accounting and reporting.
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
