    • Alaimo Group is seeking a Professionally Licensed Structural Engineer with 2 to 5+ years of experience. Design, Civil 3D, AutoCAD / MicroStation, Field Assessments, and project coordination responsibilities. B.S. / M.S. in Civil Engineering required. New Jersey licensed EIT or PE preferred. Candidates should be self-starters with good communication skills. Full-time position with a strong benefits package.

      The position includes Project Management and Design, Municipal Meetings, and Construction Administration services.

      Provide subject matter expertise to all clients for all engineering activities and assist all internal groups with the same.

      Evaluate all design for subsystem components and monitor all vendor visits.

      Participate in various design review meetings with engineering department.

      Analyze efficient implementation of all engineering procedures and monitor outcomes.

    • Responsibilities
    • Design and analyze structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive project plans and specifications.
    • Utilize software tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, and CAD for drafting and modeling structural designs.
    • Perform technical writing to create detailed reports, documentation, and project proposals.
    • Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs.
    • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
    • Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications prepared by junior engineers or drafters.

    • Proficiency in Revit and CAD software for structural design and drafting.
    • Strong understanding of system design principles within civil engineering.
    • Experience with Civil 3D for site development projects is preferred.
    • Excellent technical writing skills for clear communication of complex engineering concepts.
    • Strong project management abilities to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration is a plus.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
