Job Description :

As an Entry Level Communications Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting our communication efforts to enhance brand awareness and engage our stakeholders. You'll work closely with our communications team to craft compelling messages, manage digital content, and coordinate outreach initiatives that align with our mission and goals.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies to promote Capital NYC's initiatives and programs.
• Draft and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media posts, newsletters, and website updates.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, and provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders.
• Manage social media accounts, including content scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking.
• Support event coordination and logistics for press conferences, interviews, and other public events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging and branding efforts.
• Assist with media relations activities, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and coordinating interviews.
