Service Writer – Auto Detailing

Location : Santa Rosa, CA (On-site)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Compensation : $60,000–$70,000 base salary + monthly performance bonuses

About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated Service Writer to join a growing automotive detailing operation. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth communication, efficient workflow management, and high-quality service delivery. You’ll combine customer service, sales, and operational coordination to keep daily operations running seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients, assess vehicle needs, and explain available services and products
• Provide accurate estimates and manage invoicing, payments, and scheduling
• Communicate service progress and additional recommendations to clients
• Oversee daily workflow, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion
• Maintain and order inventory and supplies as needed
• Manage online leads, customer reviews, and sales tracking
• Support insurance estimate processing and payment tracking
• Recommend and promote retail products and accessories
• Ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and safe
• Assist in onboarding and providing feedback to team members
