Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Newberry, MI 49868 (Upper Peninsula)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (91 days)

Start Date : November 19, 2025

End Date : February 18, 2026

Clinical Setting : Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg) & Emergency Department (ED)

Shift : 12-hour day shifts

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880-$2020

Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site

Dress Code : Scrubs (any color)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)

At least 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Experience working in or floating to the Emergency Department (ED)

Proficient with Centriq EHR and Pyxis medication dispensing system

Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and critical thinking skills

RN Responsibilities

Conduct daily patient assessments, administer medications, monitor IV drips, and manage telemetry

Admit and discharge patients, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and assist with patient transfers

Float between Med / Surg (25 beds) and Emergency Department (5 beds) as needed

Assist healthcare providers with ED procedures (intubation, chest tubes, central lines)

Maintain accurate patient documentation using Centriq EHR

Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care

Follow a six-week schedule pattern, including some weekends (never working alone in the ED)
