At OnSpot Dermatology, we’re redefining how patients access dermatology care. Our state-of-the-art mobile medical clinics bring full-service dermatology services — including skin cancer screenings, biopsies, and Mohs surgery — directly to communities and workplaces across Southwest Florida.

We are looking for motivated Medical Assistants who want more than a traditional clinic role. As part of our mobile care team, you’ll work closely with dermatology providers, assist in procedures, travel with our clinics, and help deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Patient Care & Clinical Support
• Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for dermatology exams
• Scribe for providers and maintain accurate documentation in EMA / Modernizing Medicine
• Assist providers during Mohs procedures, excisions, and other dermatologic surgeries
• Label, process, and prepare pathology specimens for laboratory submission
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and assist with ongoing patient care
• Support providers during additional testing and procedures
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
Clinic Operations & Team Support
• Maintain clinic inventory, pick up supplies, and ensure the mobile clinic is fully stocked
• Serve as a liaison between management and the medical assistant team
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees
• Help train current employees on updated policies, procedures, and protocols
• Participate in monthly compliance and clinical protocol testing
• Assist with clinic scheduling and help manage staffing or call-outs when needed
• Occasionally support additional operational tasks outside traditional MA duties to help the team run smoothly
• Certified or experienced Medical Assistant
• Dermatology or surgical experience preferred but not required
• Experience with EMA / Modernizing Medicine is a strong plus
• Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Dependable, flexible, and motivated to contribute to a growing organization
