Your Key Responsibilities :
- Train and collaborate with stakeholders in the design, installation, and operation of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
- Provide ongoing technical support throughout the data center life cycle and proactively address maintenance action items.
- Define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and efforts for BMS and EPMS enhancements requested by internal customers.
- Oversee the execution and financial management of BMS and EPMS improvement projects within AWS data centers.
- Assist in procurement activities, including reviewing vendor proposals and managing purchase orders.
- Participate in the AWS global on-call rotation to provide real-time technical support for in-service data centers.
- Engage in project meetings, coordinate with team leaders, and regularly report to Controls and stakeholder management.
- Support commissioning activities related to controls projects in data centers.
- Review, troubleshoot, and refine controls sequences of operation (SOO), providing feedback to design teams.
- Develop and enhance controls logic programming and user interfaces to optimize operational efficiency.
- Manage deliverables and requirements from various stakeholders while navigating complex scenarios.
- Financially oversee service contracts related to BMS and EPMS.
- Conduct localized visits to data centers to troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with scope, design, and local regulations.

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field, plus 5+ years of controls experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.5+ years of industrial controls experience in critical environments (data centers, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, etc.).4+ years of experience in project or vendor management associated with construction and project execution.Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Controls / Automation).Experience with HVAC Controls or Electrical SCADA systems installation, programming, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (MQTT, BACnet, MODBUS).Understanding of engineering documentation and operating procedures.Ability to navigate complex stakeholder requirements and deliverables.Prior experience in designing data centers or critical MEP infrastructure.Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.Previously served in military roles.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
