Automation Test Engineer - Onsite

JD :

Automation Tester will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for our web applications and backend services. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about quality and can contribute to our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development :

o Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

o Create and enhance test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.

o Develop and execute automated backend tests using PyCharm with a relevant testing framework (e.g., PyTest or unittest).

o Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter to ensure application scalability and reliability.

o Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define effective testing strategies.

o Analyze test results, identify, and report defects using a bug tracking tool like Jira.

o Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

o Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test execution activities.
