We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer for our West Jordan, Utah area!
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Audio Enhancement, you will be a key member of our Platform Engineering team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will help drive innovation and automation to improve our operational excellence, minimize downtime, and create seamless customer experiences.
Duties include :
System Reliability & Uptime :
- Architect, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available systems.
- Develop monitoring strategies, create reliable alerting mechanisms, and establish performance baselines.
- Engage in proactive incident management, troubleshooting, and post-incident analyses to prevent recurrences.
Automation & Infrastructure :
Design and develop automation tools to streamline deployment, scaling, and operational tasks.Collaborate with development teams to integrate operational best practices into the software development lifecycle.Lead initiatives around infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.Performance & Capacity Planning :
Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning exercises to ensure systems operate efficiently under load.Analyze system metrics and logs to diagnose performance issues and recommend improvements.Collaboration & Mentorship :
Work closely with software engineers, product teams, and operations to design and implement best practices.Mentor junior team members and drive knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience in systems engineering, site reliability engineering, or DevOps.Strong coding / scripting skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, BASH, or Go).Proven experience with Linux / Unix systems and networking fundamentals.Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems and incidents.Proven experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.Preferred :
Experience working with large-scale, distributed systems in a production environment.Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.Excellent communication skills with a track record of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.Cloud Certifications (or willingness to obtain) :AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – ProfessionalGoogle Professional Cloud DevOps EngineerCompensation and Benefits :
