Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Start Date : Mid-September, more likely Mid-October

Contract Length : 6 months / 26 Weeks

Shift Details : 4 x 10 (No Weekends, No Call; M - T or T - F)

Schedule : Full-Time : 0630AM - 0530PM (1 / 2-hour lunch)

Support staff : CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1 : 2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1 : 4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity)

Patients per day : Depends, 1-9 / daily

Patient population / age : All age spans (no Neonatal)

CRNA would cover the following : Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart)

EMR : EPIC preferred

Skills required : Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB.

Practice Setting : Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)

NBCRNA Required

KY State license Required

Minimum experience required : Some experience (6 months to a year; NO NEW GRAD)

Credentialing Timeframe : 90 days
