Payroll Clerk

Our Accounting Group has an immediate opening for a Payroll Clerk that will report directly to the Payroll Manager. This position will take an active role in daily payroll operations. The Payroll Clerk will assist the Payroll Manager in the processing of payroll. This position will also assist with various other projects as assigned by the Payroll Manager and the Controller.

This candidate should have a positive outlook, should be a team player willing to perform any task / responsibility required, and should be dependable, detail-oriented, organized, technically competent, process improvement focused, and have the ability to communicate to varying audiences.

Responsibilities :

Processing timesheets, payroll, and reporting requirements

State and Federal employment surveys

Maintain paid time off records

Assist with employee inquiries

Assist with HR events

Assist the Payroll Manager and Controller as needed

Other special projects and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

1-2 years office experience preferred

Strong computer skills, system and software knowledge

Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail

Good problem-solving skills & organizational skills

Collaborative, team player, organized, self-motivated

Interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal

Proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization

Customer oriented, responsive approach to people management

Credit check will be performed
