Samsung SDS is rapidly expanding our footprint in North America and is looking for a self-motivated programmer with experience in Java mobile development and general administrative tasks. Responsibilities include working closely with remote teams, Solutions Architects, Technical Leads, and Leadership. You will support secure mobile and IoT proof of concepts, pilots, and projects. Candidates must be able to develop elegant code and comprehensive unit tests while understanding complex business / system requirements and architecture. Be a team player and take responsibility for joint team deliverables.

Qualifications

Requirements / Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Programming or related field
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Java / J2EE technologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, particularly Dependency Injection
• Spring Frameworks
• Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL, or similar database technologies
• Experience with web technologies such as Tomcat, JSON, and XML
• Experience with development tools like Eclipse
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with developers and business clients
