Nuclear Fuel Handling Engineer

A company is looking for a Fuel Handling Mechanical Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Design nuclear fuel handling equipment and components from requirements through final design

Complete designs using engineering principles and document design work through technical reports

Interface with design teams and oversee technical areas within projects, ensuring compliance with design codes and standards

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical or related discipline from an accredited university

5-15 years of direct experience in mechanical systems design, specifically in nuclear fuel handling systems

Experience with ASME BPVC, Section III, Division 1 and / or Section VIII

Previous experience with nuclear reactors or similar high-performance system design is required

Experience in high temperature and multi-discipline integration is highly desired
