ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Job Details :

  • 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Valid PA License or Compact License required at time of submission
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Patient ratios : 2 : 1 for days, nights, and weekends
  • Weekend coverage required
  • 12 hours of orientation provided
  • Two pre-approved time off days available
  • Float within hospital when needed
  • Preferred charting system experience with Cerner
  • Care for adult and geriatric patients in Medical ICU setting
  • Manage patients with stroke, sepsis, renal failure, respiratory failure, and substance withdrawal
  • Handle specialized procedures including CRRT and prone positioning
  • Work with specialized equipment including arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, and CRRT machines
  • Provide comprehensive ICU care including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, and central line management
  • Complete required non-billable modules prior to facility entry
  • Background check policy review required prior to submission

    This healthcare facility operates a 10-bed Medical ICU unit with comprehensive critical care services. The facility is stroke certified and provides specialized care for complex medical conditions including sepsis, renal failure, and respiratory failure. The ICU offers advanced technology and equipment including CRRT capabilities and specialized monitoring systems. The facility maintains strong interdisciplinary support with IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and other essential services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
