Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Nights, 3x12 hours (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)
Job Responsibilities :
Provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients in Med / Surg and Progressive Care Units (PCU).Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and inhaled medications.Perform ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation.Conduct airway management procedures including tracheostomy care, suctioning, and extubation.Collect sputum specimens and perform pulmonary hygiene techniques.Interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) to assess respiratory status and guide treatment.Deliver medications such as Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide, Tobramycin, and others as ordered.Utilize respiratory therapy equipment such as nebulizers (hand-held, trach collar, T-piece) and high-flow nasal cannula systems.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive respiratory care.Float between assigned units as required.Required Qualifications :
Active RRT credentialCurrent Ohio state respiratory licenseBLS certificationHigh School DiplomaPreferred Qualifications :
