Title : Norden Tube Filling Line Operator

Location : Fullerton, CA 92833

Date : 10-2025

Type : Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. – 3 : 30 p.m., occasional overtime)

Pay : $23 / hour

Reports To : Production Supervisor

Summary :

Responsible for manufacturing safe and quality products by following Production Work Orders, occupational and food safety policies, and ensuring line efficiency and packer performance.

Duties :

Operate all machines within the line, primarily the tube filling machine.

Read, speak, and write English; read machine manuals and instructions.

Troubleshoot line issues with attention to detail.

Perform detailed changeovers and follow Production Work Order instructions.

Ensure line performance and labor efficiency meet established standards.

Issue components, report production, and maintain accurate documentation.

Follow food safety, occupational safety, and GMP requirements.

Report machine breakdowns to expeditor / maintenance and assist with repairs.

Clean the line, lead changeovers, and engage packers during startup, shutdown, and clearance.

Conduct in-line checks for fill, package, and seal integrity; verify lot and expiration date accuracy.

Support new technologies and manufacturing processes.

Promote a positive work environment and report negative performance.

Learn and operate other machines during seasonal volume changes.

Complete other work as assigned.

Experience & Requirements :

Tube filler operation experience required (pharmaceuticals or cosmetics preferred).

High school diploma preferred.

Must lift up to 50 lbs.

Reliable attendance; no excessive job-hopping or unexplained gaps.

Eligible for rehire at previous position.

Able to follow complex written instructions and manuals.

Demonstrates strong attention to detail.

Comfortable using tools or basic mechanical systems for troubleshooting.

Can handle precision tasks during production and startup / shutdown.

Able to provide 2 professional references.
