Job Title : Tableau Back-End Developer for M365 & CoPilot Support (SP On)
We're looking for someone that is an expert in data modeling, architecture and engineering for this role to support our Tableau developers. They must have great attention to detail and focus to be able to implement, optimize and troubleshoot data workflows (ETL) and warehousing solutions in SQL, PostgreSQL. Hadoop experience is preferred as well.

Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ETL Data Pipeline Specialist with strong analytical capabilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and maintenance of robust data pipelines that feed Tableau dashboards and reports to support strategic business decisions. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of data modeling, visualization best practices, and be able to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role ensures data integrity, scalability and alignment with business logic across multiple sources.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and implement ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources (RDBMS, APIs, flat files)Build and maintain data models optimized for Tableau consumptionMonitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and failuresCollaborate with BI developers and engineers to align data structures with dashboard needsImplement data quality checks, lineage tracking, and audit logging Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into solutions.Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key insights that support business objectives.Conduct data validation and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Document data sources, logic, and user guides.Work closely with front end visualization engineers to ensure seamless data integration.Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training / documentation for dashboard consumers.Required Skills and Qualifications :
10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and ETL development3+ years in a large enterprise environmentProficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi)Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelingStrong understanding of data governance and security practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing long-running batch jobs Proficiency in optimizing performance with large datasets.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
