Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Program Management, Senior Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston, SC location. As a member of the Systems Development and Maintenance (SDM) team, the individual will support a newly developing PMO and organizational project management portfolio for the development, testing and implementation of software applications.
The Senior Analyst will work as a member of the PMO and provide assistance to executive management, Project Managers, and project team members in establishing, planning, and monitoring projects. The candidate will also support the development of Jira, PowerPlatform, Microsoft Planner and other potential applications in a newly developing PMO. The candidate will develop / execute processes to oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget and will also ensure the standards are held throughout each project's development and execution.
Responsibilities
Develop and analyze project data, including scope, schedule, project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
Accurately document the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification, tracking baseline and updating performance and project health.
Provide financial reports and budget outlines to client executives and project teams
Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
Perform analysis of complex business functions and requirements as it relates to business needs. Understand and document customers' business processes and practices and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in project management
Draft new and improve existing PMO policies and processes.
Plan project management activities, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to align the program / project with larger organizational goals
Communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
BA / BS in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer / Management Information Systems, or related field
6 years of overall relevant experience; 2 years of applicable project management experience working with a PMO, preferably in the software development environment
Expertise in project management best practices
Expertise with MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor
Ability to establish rapport with key participants of the project teams
Desired Qualifications
Experience with SAFe Scaled Agile Framework
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience with Power BI Reporting
Experience with Microsoft Project or Microsoft Planner
PMP or CAPM certification
Experience with SharePoint

For this position, the projected compensation range is $80,000-$90,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
