About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant adept at problem-solving, building and streamlining processes, and developing accounting best practices in a high-growth environment. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will have primary ownership of digital asset accounting while also contributing to other key areas of the accounting function. You'll help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, support timely and accurate financial reporting, and play a critical role in scaling our processes as the company grows.

What You'll Do

• Lead, prepare, and manage accounting process for digital asset transactions, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment under ASC 350-30 and ASC 820 for digital asset holdings and related transactions.
• Perform reconciliations of digital asset wallets, sub-ledgers, and related accounts.
• Operate as an accounting subject matter expert, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Treasurer and Product) to ensure accounting processes align with evolving business models and controls.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant systems to independently research and resolve issues.
• Serve as a key resource for FP&A and Controllership to deliver relevant, timely, and accurate financial data and metrics to enable operational efficiency.
• Support audit requests and collaborate with external auditors on matters related to digital assets.
• Provide support for special projects, system implementations, and process automation efforts.
