Responsibilities Position is in the Operating Room of a short term acute care, Level III trauma center Handles surgical cases including total joints, neuro, spine, DaVinci, and gyn / gu procedures Works 3x12 hour shifts : Monday to Wednesday, 10 : 45am–11 : 15pm Rotational evening, weekend, and holiday call required Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience required Facility has 252 staffed beds Duties include circulating and scrubbing in the OR for specialized surgical procedures Rotational call schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays Pre-start and annual module training required First-time travelers are considered only with relevant Level I trauma or travel experience Prior staff must be gone two years before returning as a traveler Time off requests up to 7 days can be auto-approved; longer requests require approval Requirements Active CT or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience with scrubbing required Experience with total joints, neuro, spine, DaVinci, and gyn / gu surgeries required Epic EMR experience required Must provide one professional reference Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted COVID and booster vaccination required unless medical or religious exemption is granted Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621756.
